A par 4 that starts on an elevated tee with a Zen rock garden on display at the beginning of the fairway, number 12 continues with a dramatic dogleg and leads to an approach that requires the player to traverse a river onto a tabletop green.

The Pacific Golf Club has a good number of downhill holes on both the in and out courses. Hole 13 poses an intimidating water carry with two bunkers on either side of the green approach, but with the right pin position and club choice, this par 3 will test all golfers.

Both the in and out course have elegant rest houses offering drinks and snacks, including one built in the style of a Japanese tea house. After the first nine, golfers break for a delicious lunch in the restaurant of the green-roofed club house. The most popular menu item is the Ryoma Steak lunch, featuring tender beef in a demi-glace sauce.
